hi all looking to replace the clutch on my 2003 2.5 ajt engine looking for a valeo clutch kit for it think its a 219mm unit i have a exturnal slave cylinder does that mean its a smf flywheel fitted to the van or could still be dmf hoping to find a valeo part number to order the clutch and possibly a dmf if its fitted

i would say 2003 defo dmf, and wouldnt do the clutch with out doing the flywheel....... might be looking at doing mine soon but not had any prices,,,, hope its not as expencive as my bora was last year that cost me near a grand, because its 6 speed...

a mate of mine spoke to valeo tec department today and they have said its got a dmf fitted but can only supply a smf convertion kit which is no bad thing realy thought i would check on the site regarding the external slave as i dont want to order the wrong one price wise its £250 for the kit and around £200-225 for labour at my lockal garage as its to cold for me out there now the van wont fit in my garage

It will be a DMF. External Clutch slave is fitted to the 02B Gearbox which you should have. Concentric Slave is internal and fitted to the 02G Gearbox which comes with the ACV Engine.
