Hi,
I've got a 98 2.5tdi (88hp) and over the last few months the hand brake has got considerably worse, by this I mean it's sticking on. I've tried lubricating but as it's got 260k on the clock I think the calipers have finally given up. I've been shopping around and the cheapest I can find is £69 per caliper on fleabay. Firstly is this a realist price and secondly, has anyone has any experience with Budweg calipers? Good or bad.

I have bought and fitted the budweg, they seemed fine, I plan on having the original VW ones rebuilt and epoxy coated by BigRed in worcs.
You could try them first as they sometimes stock T4 calliper a on an exchange basis and they are a good priceT:
