Hi guys

Im looking to buy a t4 after selling my yank pickup truck and needing something to occasionally move stuff about in and also hopefully use it as a sorta day van for days out with our little boy (7 months)

Is there enough Room for a child seat and passenger in the front?

What's regarded as the best engine size?. Any pros / cons?

I assume t4 fit in most car parks? And I assume they always need commercial insurance?

Sorry for all the questions guys, any feedback really appreciated

No problems, although you may find the answers by having a dig around in some of the threads. In answer to your questions:

For a child seat I dont personally know, but I can't see why a child seat wouldn't fit.

There is a bit of a debate over engine size, I assume your talking about T4's. The 1.9TD is a bit slower but its a nice simple lump and easy to work on at home. The 2.5 tdi is a faster engine and will cruise happily on the motorway but is a bit more complex. The 1.9TDI that some people transplant into the van is also a good engine which people know plenty about..

I have never had a problem about getting into car parks with my van, although some people with long wheel base versions complain about the length of it in the space.

You don't need to have commercial insurance, although if your modifying your van there are plenty of van specialists that will be able to cover you.
