Hello,
I'm new to this site having just bought a t4 transporter! I've already hit a snag! I drove home to Brighton (from Swansea) in a K reg 2.4 diesel last night, perfect drive! This afternoon I took the van out, it feels like the clutch is on its way out - pulling off in first I really have to rev & not get very far without - what feels like I'm going to stall. Anyone got any other theories or recommend a good reasonable garage in East Sussex?
Many thanks
Gary

If your clutch was on it's way out you wouldn't feel like you are going to stall. Quite the opposite, the engine would rev up without you moving. It sounds more like an engine issue rather than the clutch. Also, it wouldn't have gone like this overnight.

If you let it come up to temp is it still the same?

Thanks gunman. Once I've pulled off from 1st gear it runs perfect. If I had to do a hill start I'd never make it.
