I changed my clutch on the weekend and broke the speedo sensor, new one ordered. However I now have an incredibly sensitive fuel gauge. It's correct but if i go around a corner or roundabout it goes down so fast and far that the fuel warning comes on. Or even a curve in the road makes the level adjust.

Any ideas?

sounds like you've blow a fuse. When i had a t4 as a hire van it had limited mileage so used to take the fuse out to stop the speedo from working I: which also made the fuel gauge go up and down more around corners or braking.

definitely the speedo sensor. my speedo became erratic and then stopped working, the fuel gauge then went bonkers. stripped down the sensor and the connection was well corroded. quick clean up and working speedo and gauge.
