Ok thanks, yes the sound will bother me if it’s loud, the research continues
I managed to pick up a 2 year old planar 2d off eBay for £150 needed some new ducting and fuel lines and a news controller cable total cost £200 with underbody bracket. Took about 2 days to fit underneath going v slow though but works perfectly. When it’s heating up there is a little noise but when ticking over hardly notice it.

Some great items on that list, if I ever got a pop top it would be the hilo one as I'd want it as flush as poss from the outside, my ocd wouldn't allow anything else.

The owner of the yellow one is 'peace, love and happiness '
The owner of the other is 'smart , warm and going places' 👍
Thats the reason i bought something abit newer than the much loved classics .
Love them ....but could never own one 🙃

Yea same as you, love the classic look but I need my comfort, mod cons and reliability.

the bloke that owns the yellow bus is a PE coach, his also got a 1970s orange one and is restoring a split screen. He rents them out as a sideline. Apparently his orange bus was recently used for a music video.

his orange bus is nice, but Iam not a fan of that yellow.

Doesn't shout reliable when you have a tow rope wedged in the bumper 😂 looks lovely though!
