Had some problems with poor cold starting, Van would wind over and over before firing up. Symptoms seemed like the injector seals were leaking, or fuel was bleeding back to tank, The oil level wasn't increasing and the sound from the fuel tank pump seemed normal, no long prime up or additional noises. Occasionally the van would cut out while driving and stall when cold.

No faults were being stored or showing up.

Found some corrision on the terminals for the crank sensor, cleaned them up and the van is now running perfect.

I guess its just something to pass on and check if you are having any troubles:)

I'm sure I've read a thread or threads on here with a similar problem, i.e. engine turning over but not firing & it turned out to be the crank position sensor, even though no fault code was logged.
As you say, one to remember T:

Is that the connection on the front of the motor just below the tandem pump or where the sensor actually goes in?
