2010 VW California T5.1
Hi,
Looking for a little help.
The side door started to 'hiccup' during closing, starting to close and then jerking back open again..
Now the upper dash button flashes or stays constantly lit when the vehicle is in motion.
The door will auto open from internal door handle or outside door handle - but it won't close. Likewise it opens from keyfob, but won't close.
You can close it from the cab by keeping the button pressed constantly.
I haven't found much info on the internet, but believe it could be a sensor in the lower door seal?
Can this be repaired, can it be tested for operation?
I have VCDS and have the following fault codes:
2 Faults Found:
02356 - Data Transfer to Sliding Door
012-Electrical Fault in Circuit - Intermittent
02366-Pinch Protection
011-Open Circuit
Any pointers, any fault finding procedures, anything to help me to understand what needs to be repaired/ replaced would be very welcome indeed 🙏
