Looking for advice on a campsite...

My daughter and I want to camp for a weekend (specifically, last weekend in March) to iron out any issues before we go away on the balljoint run - she's 19 and we've not camped since she was tiny, so we both want our privacy etc!

We want to go to the cotswolds, so that my sister can join us (in a tent, with her Husky!)

So, looking for a site that is van-friendly, has hookup, allows tents and dogs too, and of course in an idyllic location with awesome weather thrown in despite it being end of march...

Any suggestions will be welcome, and if anyone else wants to join us well thats great too.

:)

Hi

I live in the Cotswold's and strangely enough for a area that rely's on tourism there would not appear to be many camp sites, you may want to try the Cotswold water park which is South Cerney near Cirencester http://www.hoburne.com

Winchcombe has a camp site but its actually nearer Toddington but I have never stayed there as it is only four miles away.

This one looks basic but in a great location for exploring outside the lovely village of Bourton On The Water http://www.cotswoldcamping.net/ if you go around here I would recommend a walk around the villages of Upper & Lower Slaughter not a very attractive name but very nice villages that have been used in lots of films.

I hope this helps

In return do you have a gems down your way as we tend to come there a lot but always like to try new places:)
