There is a jacking point under the sill in front of the wheel. Thing is, like u have find out, u almost need another jacking point so u can whack the axle stands under a decent point to support the van. I use a trolley Jack under the arm. Right by where the strut bolts on to. Jack that up and it compresses the strut before lifting the van. I'm sure some one will say it's not the best way to do it but it word well for me.
Also use a 6 sided socket on the 18mm caliper carrier bolts and make sure u have s good purchase on them and a decent breaker bar as there usually f'in tight. Good luck. T:
