Hiya,

I've had a cruise control fitted on my van today and now I can't switch the rear drivers side light off? Any ideas?
I'm going to take the bulb out as a temporary measure, and then it's back to the garage if it isn't an easy fix.

Thanks,
Ian

Have you left your indicator in the "on" position - this will switch on the side lights as a parking light when the key is out of the ignition.

I noticed the heater fan stayed on a while after I filled her up wit diesel. I switched her on and off again and it didn't come back on an nor did the rear light.
I'll just keep an eye on it and if it happens again I'll take it back to the garage that fitted it.

Sounds like a crossed wire somewhere, easily done- not so easily found ..

I'd return it to the garage and explain. Chances are they had to remove the fuse box to find the connector for cc and have inadvertently swapped one. I did this between the rbrake circuit and the ignition once, key out and engine would continue running untill I lifted my foot off the brake!
