Rear parking sensor hole dilemma

I pre cut my rear bumper holes after measuring them and had the bumper sprayed. Now I have taken my rear bumper off at work using their warehouse space and the sensors surround doesn’t fit!
I need to find a way to make the hole from 22mm to 25mm without completely chipping the paintwork off. Any ideas?
I’m limited with tools to do such a job and the hole cutter I used was for 22mm.

I have to remove the van from the warehouse in 2 hours as well. Brilliant!

Seeing that you already have a large hole, careful use of a step drill might be your only option, lots on ebay and amazon... time is not on your side though [emoji25]

That is a good shout if I had one. Might be able to pop out and get one

Well I got really lucky, a guy in the warehouse next door had a step drill! Thanks for that recommendation! So I had a go and what a great piece of kit. Wish I had used that from the start! So now my rear sensors all fit but due to upgrading my bumper to a T5.1 and with my sensors having the circular centre part that clicks into the surround which is slightly oval (hard to explain but oval at the top), which I guess is to do with allowing the sensor to pick up lower down items? Not sure....

so with the new bumper there is a slight ridge along it and the oval lip at the top of the sensor is now being pushed out by this ridge. I may have to use some black silicone to keep the sensor attached to the bumper but sadly I don’t think it will be flush.

I didn’t want to have to buy new sensors when these worked just fine but new ones may have had smaller sensors?

anyone else come across this issue? How would you say is best to adhere the sensor on and pull it in tight flush to the bumper whilst some glue/silicone cures?

Result... [emoji106]
Our's is a 5.1 but without a ridge (uniform oblong reflectors) so not sure how yours is.
Could you not "scallop" the tops of the housings to sit flush against the ridge?
Sometimes the oval bit (wedge?) is discarded when used on a flat(ish) bumper.
Let's see your pics as "a picture is worth a thousand words" ...

I don’t know the brand of my reverse sensors to even look for more circular housing for each one. Must be that shape for a reason? I just need it to be pushed in a little more with some black adhesive and at least I know it’s not going to fall off and the gap is a little smaller.

Have you tried turning the housing 180 degrees as the sensor seems to be pointing upwards as it is now, and turning them will have the sensors pointing straight back... it MIGHT also give you a tad more room to clear the ridge [emoji848]

That is a good point the sensors are not facing straight and are more up aren’t they. I put the sensors into the housing so it may be I need to turn the sensors inside 180 on some of them to face more straight. The housing however I think it correct this way up? I’m starting to wonder now...... but if I could turn the housing around it would solve this problem!
