Rear seat options

Hi guys

recently bought a T4 so its all quite new.

i have 2 young children 3 and 5, and they are both in car seats..

My van has a repeated front seat in the rear, therefore has to have a lap belt on the right..(no anchor for seat belt beacase of slide door)

I was driving along the other day when my daughter screamed, she was in her seat but lieing on the floor not good!!

is there alternative rear seat that has 2 shoulder belts? or is there a clever solution?

I think if you do a search you will find how-to,s on this . I believe Caravelle bodied vehicles have mountings for seat belts integral . Otherwise , you need to retro-strenghthen for lap&diagonal , and seat mounting safety points . Specifically , what van you have would help ..

hi, if you have as you say Window Van, Multivan, Swb, 2.5 TDI

... then it is ready for the fitting of rear seatbelts if the necessary fitments are sourced and fitted

re you saying you have a front double in the back? 2nd row or thrir row?

or is it a standard second row double? if so, and assuming its mounted to the offside, then you could source the matching middle row single nearside and fit that seat ( on mushroom bolts ) and get the standard 3 point nearside middle row seatbelt that mounts to the nearside C pillar

or you could get a velle third row triple and fit that, the body being ready for D pillar mounted belts
