Has anybody completely stripped a rear caliper down before, I'm fine with changing the piston seal and dust covers but not sure about the hand brake mechanism. It looks like an internal circlip holds the thing in, however its spring loaded so not sure how I would get it back in If I take it out.

ive just stripped a set of rears and taken the circlip out with some trouble.
the problem is access,i struggled to get a set of circlip pliers to get in to the cylinder
in honesty ime gonna have to find a better set to get the clips back inn.
there must some available somewere for the job.
its very easy to score the bores on the way out with the circlip.
not an impossible job,but not easy either
