Just wondering, about the item below;

If this replica chin is fitted (bonded), wouldn't it stop the removal of the fog light surrounds on the bumper, and therefore mean that access wouldn't be possible to the tow eye thread? Any thoughts?

It does stop access to the towing eye. The official VW one has removable covers as does the one Skydiver Jon was selling on here. (Not sure if he still does). You could try not breaking down!! T:
