A quick question,

The Allen Key Bolts on top of the Roof, (T5 model)

Do they un-screw from a fixed bolt, or do you need to have a spanner on a nut from the inside ?

The reason for the question, the vehicle is already lined, would like to fit a rail for an awning

The holes in the roof are tapped you just undo the bolt

Didn't want to undo, then realise, needed access from inside to nut ?

May sound like a dumb question, once removed, will they require re-sealing,

or are the self taped section already sealed, regardless of removing and refitting the bolt ?

I can't recall a sealing washer but if you wanted you could put some ptfe tape or a smear of sealant on it I guess?

The original bolts have big rubber sealing washers on them.

Don't over tighten them when putting them back in. (They are made of cheese)
