hi guys has anyone built any cupboards that can attach to the roof at the back or down the sides above windows, getting a full width r and r fitted shortly and looking at some small storage options anyone got any pics or ideas for me

i ve done them in the past theres not much height above the side window and you end up with a very narrow space

yeah that is the sort of thing im thinking of, but putting a small cupboard in the middle of the speakers just need to work out how to cut the curve right to fit the roof,,

I made a box for speakers and storage in the roof, but found it seriously blocked my rear view ...................did my head in so removed it!!!!!!!

T: pencil , cardboard and a scribe bar (piece of wood) . perfect fit every time

Yep I made a card template and the shape of mine was to allow vision through the back window

Yes cardboard has many uses and is cheaper than ply/mdf
i used the same method to cut around the "Bongo" rails in me bus A:

iv got a cupboard above the smev cooker and sink at the side of the van.just a narrow one that holds cups ,sugar and tea bags.really usefull, chris
