I got a dpf fitted on my t4 to meet the london LEZ law, and when i did the guy said to be careful of people trying to steal it as the metals in it are worth several hundred.
After a year of it messing up, i decided to remove it again (waste of money i know), im now trying to scrap it for money but have no idea where to, and a quick search on the internet didnt help. Does anyone know anything?

Not aware of there being much value in a DPF.

What was wrong with it? How come it was messing up? Is it bust?

The internal bits of a genuine dpf are worth good money.
Local metal recycling place is best best.
