I'm going to have a look at a 2005, 1.9 Kombi T5 tomorrow.
I've been reading up, but is there anything in particular I should be looking for when goin over it and taking it out for a spin?

Any advice would be greatly appriciated, i've ust sold the T4 so jumping over tot he dark side H:

check service history-get evidence of the services (vat reciepts etc)
check oil quality
look for any evidence in the bodywork of any damage repairs #(colour differences etc)


get me the reg number and chassis number

drive it, see how it feels, get someone to go with you who knows what theyre looking at would be best

above all go with ur gut, if it doesnt feel right walk away

Lots of drive shafts play up, listen for a graunching sound and on hard lock a bit of a judder when pulling away, people reckon about £300 to fix

the driveshaft issue is mainly on the 2.5 tho
