My new seats. From a Volvo 840 - heated black leather. Got an engineer friend to weld them onto bases which required some bars as the volvo seat runners are about 10cm wider that the T4. I fitted the passenger one on the original double seat base with the plan to build a cup holder box & storage area...

BEST PART, SEATS WERE FREE AND WELDING WAS IN EXCHANGE FOR BEER TOKENS!

Took about 3 hours to fit. Had to grind off a locator peg and drill 4 new holes.

Been after one of these for ages, an Escort RS2000 Recaro seat, pretty much the same as in Cosworths
Will get a better pic uploaded, this is off my Blackberry, the seat is in great condition with no bolster wear or anything, breaker didnt even know there were a pair in a van in his yard, wonder what it will look like in T4 seat fabric, keeping the double seat for the wife and son otherwise i would have had the pair T:

T4 Seat Guide In Pictures​

About 3 hours to fit per seat
Runners alot wider than seat base so i used 5mm stell strapping to extend to take the new runners

I have been on the lookout for a pair of these for a week or so , was going to order some brand new ones tomorrow but these showed up on pistonheads last night , so shot off to Newbury this morning and snapped them up

My van is in the bodyshop having caravelle front and rear bumpers fitted , and front and rear spoilers , and have decided to have it fully resprayed Ferrari rosso red , will fit them in when it comes back

Can't wait to get it all finished
