Did you have any problems fitting the ford seats ?
Did you have to weld anything ?
Any pics of when you did them ?
I have one that's either a Cosworth or RS 2000 one I want to fit for the drivers seat, looks hard work though ?

No problems, i drilled one hole for the rear of the outer runner and used the existing hole at the front, the inner runner was just welded on. For seat belt receivers i drilled a hole in the seat base to accept ones from a Polo.

Ideally i'd like them to sit a bit lower...

Escort/Sierra ones might be slightly wider at the runners which will be a good thing as the Fiesta ones are slightly narrower than the VW base.

Might very well have just sussed out an easy way of fitting seats with the Mk4 Golf type runner system into the van.
Been on this for the last two days solid, because of those Audi seats I bought a while back, and I'm 95% certain I've sorted it.
Need to do a bit more tomorrow and then I'll get a write up in here if it works.
