Before people jump and tell me to use the search function, I have. I have read that by law you dont have to have belts. I'm curious if anyone knows otherwise or if there's been other complications carrying passengers that way. Btw I'm not carryin children will be adults.

think your opening a can of worms mate but my understanding is dvla dont stipulate you must have seatbelts to carry passengers in self build campers BUT by law it is illegal to carry more passengers than you have seatbelts installed to carry them or carry passengers dangerously ie without seatbelts...

I thought that rear facing seats were exempt.

TBH the amount of seats for sale on Ebay with built in belts it seems silly not to fit them

only before a certain year, and theres still the gray area of the law about it,

i think unless you got pulled by a really reasonable copper they would be handing out the £60 fines galore! although ive never met a reasonable traffic copper all the ones have poulled me have all been Aholes LOL:
