Just got home having had to leave my van on the side of the road outside a friends house, Couple weeks ago my van failed to start, all the lights came on but would not turn over, messed around with the immobiliser fob and it started fine, however tonight it just will not start, i have tried numerous times to set and unset the alarm but it wont turn over, tried ringing he RAC but was on hold for 45 mins as they are busy!!

Got a lift home after locking it up, and am now trying to find cause of the problem can anyone help?

Van is an ex thames valley water works one.

It has a sigma alarm/immobiliser that on the fob has 3 LED stripes and a tear drop shaped fob.

Sigma now defunct could be your fob playing up though

Erm no its in middle of know where to be honest just a few houses, fob as in the tear drop or alarm thing? can the immobiliser be totally disconnected?

I bet ur vans got Cordwallis on it somewhere......
