Hi all,

I'm just about to embark on PP2 and gather that a slide hammer is essential to remove the old injectors. Trev (Wind Welder on here) welded up a few slide hammers specific for the job and sold them to various bods on here. If you're one of those bods and fancy lending or selling me your slide hammer if you've finished with it I would be extremely grateful.

Cheers,
Paul :)

OK thanks guys. Guess it's luck of the draw but I don't want to start the job and not be able to finish it so I think I'll try and hunt one down anyway to be prepared.

Cheers
Paul

Use the pipe method.

The one from pot 5 goes on all the injectors.
Use a spanner on the top nut to wiggle and pull gently but assertivly on the pipe where it comes out of the top nut to extract.

if you find a stubborn one twist side to side for longer and it will come out.
