At last a T5 and T6 campervan table that is stored in the nearside sliding door of RHD vans.

The Loc8 Table
The custom built table has the advantage of being stand alone; meaning that it can be used either inside or outside the van. With the top manufactured from high quality 10mm CPL faced birch ply, it has a great strength to weight ratio and the adjustable locking aluminium legs mean that the table remains stable at all times when in use.

The Loc8 Trim
Manufactured in the UK, the ABS door trim panel has been carefully designed to have no moving parts; making it rattle free and ensuring a long service life. The trim itself fits into the door using existing fixings and requires absolutely no modification to the door itself.

The Loc8 Table System
Taken together the Loc8 Table System safely stores the camping table out of the way in the sliding door. To take the table out you simply slide the table up and out of the trim panel. To refit it you simply do the reverse; it takes seconds.

They are available from www.icampersolutions.co.uk priced at £275 including mainland UK delivery.

A good solution.T:

Like the fact you can use the table outside the van.

Could the door moulding be carpet lined?

Looks great. Priced a bit high though? Would it fulfil dvla classification as a "fitted" table for a camper conversion?

It may be tricky to carpet the trim completely, as it's designed with carefully created tolerances in the areas that hold the table in the trim. But I'm sure it can be done.

As the trims are made of ABS they can also be painted or hydro dipped by someone with the right skill set.

Certainly the Loc8 Table system isn't cheap, but we think it's good value for a quality product designed and built in Britain. A genuine VW California option seems to cost more than twice the price and is almost always only available for the wrong door if you drive a RHD van.

By itself the Loc8 Table System will not fulfill the DVLA rules required to change the registration classification of a van to a campervan, as they insist on a table being physically fixed to the vehicle's interior. Most conversion companies we work with offer a clip on table which is used to register the van and then the customer chooses not to use it again; preferring a stand alone table that's stored out of the way when not in use.

Hi,
Another question :)
Will these fit in vans with built-in blinds (eg Caravelle)?
Thanks, seb
If your blinds are part of a full plastic door trim (ie it covers the entire door from top to bottom) then no the Loc8 Table System will not fit, sorry.

If on the other hand your blind system only occupies the window section of your door then the Loc8 Trim should fit fine, as it just replaces the lower hardboard panel.

Thanks for clearing that up - yes looks like as the Caravelle interior trim fully covers the inner door then butchering would be required:

Fitted one of these recently. Great bit of kit and easy to fit. Good to deal with as well and supplied some good quality used clips as mine had been replaced with a screwed carpet panel.

Great to have a table we can use inside and out. Also managed to pick up some lightweight chairs at a French supermarket. Light enough to stow on the rear tailgate using some cam straps threaded behind the panel.

Hi all just bought one of these tables, very disappointed with it,first journey out in the camper with this fitted and it does nothing but rattle over every bump, I had to buy a car sponge cut it in two and wedge it behind the table to try and stop it rattling not bad for a £275 purchase, I bought it off there eBay shop but because it’s over 90 days all I can do is send them a message
