I have an 2.5 AJT and the timing keeps on going... In the couple of years of having the van I've had the timing done about 3 times with the last place (VW Commercial Dealer) saying they just lock-tited the pulley onto the camshaft (Their words).

Is this a common problem and is there a fix for it??

P.S. The VW Garage also said that my 2.5 AJT had a cylinder head and camshaft from a 2.4 fitted hence the timing slipping due to non standard parts so don't really trust them...

Any advice is greatly appreciated...
