Hi All,
I'm a 21 year old student and have just about been able to afford my first project, a T4!
She is mechanically pretty sound but needs a fair bit of work on the body which im hoping to do myself.
Im looking to have it resprayed at a later date when i can afford it but don't mind it looking like a patchwork toy until then.
Can anyone give me any advice on how best to attempt the repairs? My current plan is to go panel by panel doing the following:
1. Sand back any rust etc to bare metal
2. Treat with Kurust
3. Filler if needed
4. etch primer
5. High build primer
6. Sand back then finish with a generic automotive black spray paint to seal
Any advice is much appreciated!
