When me and 'er were courting ! ! ! We used to go to a pub (The Star - Hullavington Village) on a Friday evening. In the jukebox was the song "Don't cry for me Argentina" sung by Roy Castle accompanied by himself on the trumpet, (I kid you not). We used to select it then run like the clappers! With Rolf Harris singing Stairway to heaven, anyone got any others ? Cheers, Tony.

Saw Cradle of Filth live recently who covered Temptation by Heaven 17, very odd. Also Sisters of Mercy used to cover Gimme Gimme by Abba!

I've a cassette of John Mayall's Bluesbreakers. Volume 1 (never found volume 2). When at a gig, or should that be jig in Ireland they were asked to play the National anthem to close the gig (tis the law begorra). What a racket ! Cheers, Tony.
