I hope someone can help me with the following query.
Vehicle: 2002 T4 Transporter Caravelle. 2.5TDi.
Speakers: Installing Ripspeed 102 4" speakers. Replacing dash top speakers, also 4".
Threre are two knurled nuts on the back of the Ripspeed speakers. One has a coloured red band, and the other black.
The left hand side van speaker has two wires; one blue and one brown. I believe speaker performance will be better if I connect the positive wire to the red/(=positive) side of the speaker.
My question is should I connect the blue or brown wire to the red indicated side of the speaker?
P.S. The driver's side speaker wires had one of the wires with a red stripe in it and I duly connected this to the red/positive side of the speaker.
Many thanks for all replies.
