I'm planning to get our 2.4D turbo'd by Mole later this year (budget permitting!)
I've also spend some time looking at the various threads about location of an intercooler, which seem to suggest locating low down near the front is the best from a heat dissipation point of view.
There is a very good thread showing an additional grille set into the lower bumper of a white T4 (sorry can't remember whose!) using a Golf Mk4 grille.
I'd also like a front splitter (more for looks than anything else - I don't think even Mole's finest is going to turn our bus into a sports car!)
So, my question is, has anyone grafted a Mk4 Espace lower bumper grille/splitter onto a T4? It looks like it would be a close fit, though the profiles would need filling, fettling to get a smoooth transition from France to Germany!
