Ok there seems to be a lot of minted peeps out there who can go large with their wheels, but some of us are stuck with 'winter wheels'(steelies) for various reasons. So what tyres do you use and how do you rate them.... I'll start with
'Avon avanza' 205/65r15's very happy with wear rates. 30k
'Pirelli Citynet' 205/65r15's only lasted 10k, not happy
'Continental Four seasons' 205/65r15's just fitted.

Hi Marco,

I bought a set of Kleber 195/65/R15's last year (£65 each fitted at ATS) and after clocking up 25K their still looking good on my '99 2.5TDi LWB

Hope that helps?

Goodyear Cargo G26 205/65R15.....very good
GT Radial Maxmiler CX 205/65R15.....current fitment & very good (there is also a winter pattern called WT)
Hankook RA08 195/70R15.....not bad
Kleber 195/70R15....these were stock and they were rubbish on Australian roads

Looking to move to a 205/70R15C size in the next tyre fit to get the larger diameter of the stock 195 with the width of the 205...high load rated tyres in this size are becoming more common in Australia as they are a stock fitment size on the Toyota Hilux 4x2 utility.
