Call me mad...call me cool!lol...I like my standard 16" 'dotty pattern' steelies T:

My vans just clocked 142k and no record of any suspension items replaced...time to make a list

OEM shocks alround..
-40 H&R springs
ALL new bushes ( OEM spec..not PU/Powerflex type)

Has anyone got any photos of a T5 on std steelies with a 40mm drop on H&R's/ Eqv??

I'm also open to advise and input on my choices above..
I don't want a 'harsh sporty ride' ..its crashy and bangin now so can't get much worse I guess!ha!
Kinda just want it comfy but lower!ha! so thought new OEM shocks and springs plus all new bushes would be a good idea?...those in the know please tell me otherwise T:

ALSO...

Is it possible to run the std steelies on 'CAR type' tyres?...
I'd imagine the 60psi pressures they run wouldn't help ride quality wise!ha!

If so..pics and recommendations would be ace

This picture was taken literally minutes after I'd finished fitting H&R 40's. Has settled a fair bit since then too.

I take it your using 'std' length shocks and just the -40 springs?


How would you say the ride is compared to standard?..
