I am putting this up as i am organising the Bude weekender but thought it might be handy for all parents on any camping holiday.

So as the title suggests what can we do to keep the kids happy while the parents enjoy a bit of me time :*

On our campsite we have a play area and a mini football pitch plus a large green area as there won't be many campers at the end of the season.

I was hoping you would be the entertainment Daz but if not, what you have suggested would be cool. Apart from the petrol and matches. (I'll leave that for the adults :D)

Stomp rockets and a target will keep them going for hours
Thats a good idea. I used to have the part water filled coke bottle and a foot pump. Used to go miles T:

stomp rockets (as already mentioned) is a good shout.

another favourite ... frisbee but get an Aerobie Squidgie Disc (or several if stops a few arguments!). They're great. Really easy to throw and soft so no lost teeth if the kids trying catching them with their faces! About £6 from Halfords etc.

We have three of them on board whenever we go camping. The larger for the adults and the smaller Wildsling for the kids.:ILU:
