Dear All,
I spoke with someone a few months back now, regarding a surge in the heater fan when I engage reverse gear, and had a very informative reply regarding fumes from the engine being kept out of the cab.
Thank you.
I have now noticed that I have the same surge in fan power when I wash the windscreen by pulling the stork.
Any ideas why this occurs?:*

It's just putting it onto recirculate. Just check the fuse box as the shonky VW wiring likes to slowly melt the blower fuse connection!!

Not to hijack this thread, but does anyone know why the van 'goes cold' when I have the heater on but driving round a corner / roundabout? :*
