I am looking at a T4 camper advertised and it says it is a 2.5TDi Automatic 130bhp 2003 model. Is the bhp quoted correct?

Do you need an auto? If not i would advise against. The BHP coudl be right depending on what the the engine type is:

AJT; AYY 88 PS (87 hp/65 kW) at 4500 rpm
ACV; AUF; AYC; AXL 102 PS (101 hp/75 kW) at 3500 rpm
AHY; AXG 151 PS (149 hp/111 kW) at 4000 rpm

Thanks for your quick reply. Please can you advise your reasons against the auto version.

Its a bit prone to overheating, which is usually catastrophic. It can be carefully maintained or as I am about to embark on; add additional coolers. But i think the general consensus is that its best avoided where possible.
