hi since doing my tdi conversion im thinking do i need to make vent holes in my wing for the airbox or will there be enough air circulation without it ?? I:I:I:I:

hi since doing my tdi conversion im thinking do i need to make vent holes in my wing for the airbox or will there be enough air circulation without it ?? I:I:I:I:

cant see there being a problem,early models managed fine without,i think the vent was more to do with efficiency,drawing cooler air from outside because of the increased engine bay temp with turbo engines
instead of the vent fit an intercooler,problem not just solved but improvedA:
