Has anyone got any idea where MuddyCamel is!?
I rented his tool - used it - boxed it up and sent it back. I mailed him to let him know it was on the way and then I got a reply saying he was 'away''. Since then - nothing. No refund no communication...

Feeling really gutted and lost 200 quid that I need for my van resto :*

I just got back this evening after a 800 mile drive. Next to no communication available - barely even a 'phone signal. In other circumstances, almost peaceful but I was working very long days (& lack of comms caused a lot of problems).
Anyway normal service can now resume A:
Thank you for your understanding.

Hi buddy, I may need to rent your upper ball joint tool. I have just renewed the ARB droplinks which were very worn, and a longish test drive this evening will confirm weather the knocking from the front has been fixed or not.
If not, then I will obviously need to hire your tool.
Postage will be to Newhaven, East Sussex.
Is the tool currently available or out on a job?
Cheers. Adam.

Hi, is this tool still available for hire? Seen cheap ones on eBay and I'm worried they won't be up to the task!
Posting to Cornwall?

Yes it's still available :)
I wouldn't trust some of the cheap stuff that's around either! The forces involved quite considerable when removing a rusted ball joint. Then there's the cost and hassle of sorting out a damaged upper arm for example....
Cornwall - no problem!
I've sent you a pm with details
