Need help have a t4 van which wont start. Has diesel in her ,turns over fine and glow plug light goes out anyone any ideas

Hi, I had the same problem with mine, turned out it was the relay that energises the fuel cutoff, sorry can't remember which one it is.

if was that would have no heater plug lightbas that is on same relay for the engine electronics
have checked fuel pump fuse

had this problem with mine. turned out to be a faulty glow plug relay. very cheap to replace if this is the problem. if you have a friend or neighbour with the same van you could always borrow their relay to see if this is the fault.

Got the cold start issue with mine. Turns over fine but no fire. So each cold morning I have to undo the air intake and spray some 'East Start' in and hey presto. Been told this points at the glow plugs but any advice always well received.

Glow plugs replaced and starts fine now even on the snowy/icy mornings we had recently.
Also realised I had a 'cold start' (choke) so I am wiser now...
