As someone addicted to little projects, I wanted to install a boost gauge to my van.

Now, I know the theory, tap a vacuum hose with a T-piece after turbo, but before manifold and run it through to the CAB; or drill the manifold and install a self-tapping nipple.

I don't want to do the latter, so does anyone know which hose to tap? Before/after the N75?

Here's a pic of the engine bay, you can just about see the turbo actuator and the hose meandering up from the turbo in front of the heat shield and below the brake servo.........

The hoses to the turbo actuator/ n75 are vacuum not pressure, best place would be at the egr valve, egr delete pipes usually have a tapping to install a nipple into. By tapping the egr valve body it can easily be removed to do the work so that all swarf can be removed.
