Hi All
I'm lost! Last month I started the van on a real cold night -2 ish and it started up really rough and the idling was awful and was jumpy to start of with when driving. It was a lot better when warm but still not great. I had it plugged in and the code was suggesting a faulty fuel pressure regulator valve. I then replaced it with a bosch replacement and it's still no better and if everything worse as the engine management lights on along with flashing glow plug light. I've plugged it in again and it's still suggesting the pressure regulator valve! I've also replaced the fuel senor as well. I've been told it could be the IMV on the fuel pump which is my next stage of fault finding. Has anyone else had this issue??

I thought so. It's probably a dud, I recommend you take it to a VW specialist who can put on a test pressure regulator to see if it fixes the problem, if it does then you can splash out £310 + VAT for a genuine one from TPS or VW.
I know a garage that will do it near Carlisle if you are from the north

OBD2 fault code p0087

i can't find the others right now, but when I was searching for solutions I found 1 or 2 posts on forums mentioning that the cheap DRV's were duds, and one guy I was talking to on whatsapp, all said the same thing. and I didn't want to believe it but turns out they were all right and it was a simple fix but the part is expensive

Well the MAIN problem is probably that your van is CONFUSED!
IT assumes it's a T5, but YOU post in the T4 section....
If you apply T4 fixes to it, it will get it's "knickers-in-a-twist"....
