I have recently bought a T5 Caravelle 2.5L 130bhp 04 plate. It has sliding windows on both sides. The thing is, I cannot get them to slide back. The butterfly clips are good and lift the rods - the locators come out of the holes too. But still the windows will not slide back.

The is a metal swivel clip on the top rear of the window pulls the window slightly into the vehicle but the bottom does not. Do any of you have experience with this? Is there a swivel clip on the bottom of the window and if so does this match the top clip. I'm thinking it may be rusted fast.

you will need to get someone outside giving gentle pushes/knocks. Mines was stiff as hell but with an extra pair of hands got it loose. Then a ton of baby oil I: so it does not damage the seals/rubbers

The genuine factory fit sliders are a pain (literally sometimes) to open on my kombi. Need regular lube/maintenance. The aftermarket ones on my camper give no trouble:*
