I have an intermittent fault with my hazards/indicators. When the van is unlocked with the remote and the sliding door opened, SOMETIMES the hazards come on and the indicators go beserk. Have just had wiring in the driver footwell replaced following alarm activation problems and had hoped that all problems were now fixed but clearly lnot. Any ideas where my auto electrician should look for the fault please? He has been very patient but the van won't go beserk to order!

Does vcds talk to convinience ?Is this the wiring under the drivers seat your refering too ? If not take out the seat and trace the wiring from the central locking control unit it within 12" from multi plug under flooring the insulation can get water ingress from water running off your shoes , the red and trace 12v pos supply is the one ive had problems with on a few t5's as it has a crimped connector where it corroded ? Worth a look
