It appears that fitting Heki roof light to a T5 roof is not going to be straight forward due to the roof not being smooth - I would like to fit it to the centre of the section behind the driver, above the sliding door if you will, to cast light onto the table area. Now, assuming I find a way of sealing a roof-light to the ribbed roof, are there any strength considerations I need to be aware of? ISTR that there is a cross-brace there which will have to be cut out. I was looking at the 500mm x 700mm roof light.
Any thoughts, ideas, experience? I assume that there is nothing off the shelf to allow for fitting rooflights intended for smooth GPRP/ali roofs into ribbed van roofs?
Cheers
Chris
