HELLO GUYS,

i m new to this forum and i need your help urgent please.
I bought a t5 shuttle 2007 2.5 tdi auto lwb. 120000 miles on the clock. after driving it for a few weeks i noticed white blueish color smoke from the exhaust sometimes only. and then it became constant. i went to a friend of mine who owns a workshop. he said that its the injectors,so i replaced all five as my vehicles is a five cylnders. At a cost of £1400 for refurbished ones from company in isleworth london. around 2 or 3 weeks after having the job done the smoke reappeared again. so i went back to the company who did the injectors and they said injectors are fine but it seems stem valve seals in the head and piston rings have become weak.
so i had them done at cost of £1500. Now i am having the same problem again(the smoke). i notice that there is vibration in the engine like its misfiring. and i got no warning lights on the dash panel.

Please help me if you gyus know any thing about this problem.

kind regards.

Hi I had the same problem with mine it smoked when cold you could not see behind, white smoke it was like being James Bond when he hit the smoke button.

It was a catalog of problems one was a weeping injector, then it was the injector guides in the head as the injectors run of the cam shaft they move in the head making the guides bigger so they don't seal letting diesel through making it smoke. To me this sounds like this is your problem as you had the injectors and seals done and it was ok for a few weeks.

The bad news is it is head off, most people when mine had problem they told me i neede a new head £1000 I found someone to re shim the head, but the company forgot to pressure test the head and it had a crack in a water way so I needed a new head in the end anyway.

If you need any more info let me know

Sorry to give you bad news mine was a nightmare but is great now and I love it

Hello, thank u for your reply. I had the head done completely with new guides (shiny new as brand new). Do u think it will need redoing.

Did they replace valve guides or injector guilds, the injector guides are very specialised the head would have to be sent to a specialist engneering comp to do this. When I had my probs i really struggled to find someone.

Did you have the head pressure tested when it was off
