This is my first post on here so wish me luck.

I've just bought a peach of a T4 Syncro. My mate was struggling to jack it up so I wondered whats the best way to jack one up. I'm looking for a small one that I could leave in there to get me out of the sticky stuff. Its got the biggest off road tyres fitted which makes it a little higher that normal. It also has sidebars fitted to the jacking points which make it even trickier.

Cheers
Matt

i dont know about where to jack it, but the p38 range rovers came with little bottle jacks, a lot easier to use than scraping your knuckles across the floor with a windy jack, you could nab one from a scrap yard for a tenner and they wont buckle under the weight :)

you want a hi-lift really but will need a mount for your set up
try the syncro specific forum also on the t4 page

Haha true. I only became the proud owner on new years eve and I had to go straight offshore for two weeks so I've only drove it less than half a mile at the moment. The bars will be coming straight off before I go near any rough stuff T:

As i've said before. On a lowered van these are side bars.
On a syncro or offroad inspired van these now become rock sliders. :D
