Hi Guys,

Sit back with a cuppa as I've found another project to get stuck into!

I sold my T4 LWB Panel Van last year, after nearly 10 years!

I bought myself a Porsche 911 (that I love!) but I still like to tinker with VW's!

Some people may know that I'm still in the process of upgrading my T4 Compass Calypso Motorhome, the build tread for that can be found in the Coachbuilt section of the Forum.
Search for T4 Compass Calypso Project and you'll find it.

Anyway, I've wanted to get my hands on a Caddy MK3 (2k) for a few years now, and now's my chance.

I'll be following the lines of OEM+.

This will be my daily driver once completed.

It's an 04 SDi with 133 000 on the clock.

As per my other thread, this will be an ongoing Build Thread.

Here goes, enjoy!

Right, a little update.

Fake Lead Flashing, Camping Mats and Space Blankets
Grand Total of £58.79 :D

So there you go, a layer of flashing, yoga mat, then a runner's space blanket.
All glued, with added tape for the sake of it I:
I started to cover the arches with the flashing as well.

Will it work? Who knows, but it didn't cost an arm and a leg.
Makes me feel better

Oh and I found these in a Motorhome I: (I'll replace them, promise)

More to come :D

Hi Dad, ;¬)

Stripped out the plywood from my Maxi yesterday finding similar horrors.

Found one design issue. If anything (such as oil) has been spilt in the back it can drain under the kick plate in the side door, around the wiring and down a hole into the back of the passenger compartment. Trying cat litter to soak it up.

Keep posting updates. Currently working out what I want to do with my van.

Nice one, cheers for the comment T:

I think these Caddy's are taking off as a smaller T4 replacement

Sounds a plan.

I'm not touching the engine side of things. Just need a daily driver.

Thanks for following T:

A little update :)

Just some random stuff I've been doing.

Don't like the colour of these A/B pillar parts,
So thinking of sending them off for flocking as I've never done this.

Then I thou I'd take a look at the steering problem.
Airbag off and change the steering position sensor. Still need to reset it on Vag Com.

Then I removed the a pillar quarter windows.

Still loads more exciting stuff to do H:
