Which thermal fuse are you referring to?

 

Sorry, I think there's a 30 Amp thermal fuse for the electric windows.

 

Ok - just that there is a thermal fuse for the heater motor and I wasn't sure if you meant that.

I think the location varies, but the most common seems to be at the top of the frame on which the main BCM is mounted, behind the panels in the driver's footwell.

 

Thanks! I've stripped the centre and passenger panels but no luck... Ill move across!

 

Still no luck. There's a couple of relay switches in there (one with a number 472) but no thermal fuse!!! Not sure if I'm looking in the right place.

 

Just to be clear - you're looking for a thermal circuit breaker, not a thermal fuse. They are designed to self-reset, unlike a thermal fuse which just blows and then has to be replaced. So if you are looking for something that looks like a fuse, you are probably looking for the wrong thing.

 

After reading another thread, I searched for a green/aluminium cased thermal fuse. So, where would the thermal circuit breaker be located? Can it be reset manually?
