WE now have a van without holes in the roof and a very tidy partial paint job, 2 replacement (cable tied ) wheel trims are going on, but on the inside the old carpet is full of holes from bolts and workmens boots. I was considering getting it recarpeted somewhere but, having ahem sightly overspent on the external bodywork funds are limited.
So, thinks I, why not try carpet tiles with copydex to glue them to the old carpet, easy to cut to shape and not expensive.
Has anyone got any experience of trying this?

I used carpet tiles in our camper, BnQ supplied, easy to work with, put them down on a solid level load floor, if one is ruined it can be changed easily, didnt use glue, they have stayed perfectly, cant see the joins, would recomend them, and would use again.T:

Bigcat used them too, with positive results, nearly swayed me away from altro!

Got a twin slider velle carpet if its any use :*

Just refitted mine with carpet tiles - easy peasy and look good too. This time though, I've sprayed a patch of contact adhesive in each corner, same on floor and tacked them down with that. The ones I've just taken up were down 14 years !
