Hi all,
We're new to the forum and T4's.

We recently bought a W(2000)reg 2.5tdi LWB.

I think it's more than a coincidence that I jet-washed the Engine & bay from all angles yesterday. The van ran perfectly afterwards, left it running for a while and parked him up.

This morning however, started and revved fine but as I went to move - no throttle response at all, revs crept up to 1200ish and management light came on!!!

Since then I checked throttle except I found no cable?? Electronic??

I have also blown out every connector and open wiring I can find top and bottom, front and back and doused with WD40!!

Still no joy:* Can anyone help please??

pull conector off floor throtle try starting re fit it sould reset itself

UPDATE :
Tried the old ECU in the airing cupboard trick for a few days!
Ran about a mile before tripping out.T:
Been out a couple more times - done 20 miles now without issue

Future could be dull if you've sprayed inside plastic connector blocks with WD40.....the solvent it uses corodes plastic like hell....
Also remember, WD40 is an oil, and oil is an insulator....NOT what you want in electrical connections.
Buy some proper contact cleaner from Maplins etc.

WD40 is OK to spray "around" cables and connectors to repel water...but never inside them.
