I think Brandrup also make a piece of high density foam which fits between the awning and the roof to stop the rain getting in.

Give me a shout if you need any more photos :)

Hi Roger,

I must admit that I didn't fit it myself, I left it to Ed at Celtic MotorHomes to sort because I would have made a right balls of it I:

The awning and both support brackets were ordered from Rose Awnings, but the rear bracket needs a slight modification, (as far as I can remember it needs a couple of inches taking off the top of it as it's designed to sit in the roof gutter which is covered by the poptop) I'm sure Ed will be able to expand on the exact modification required...

Apart from that it was a couple of holes drilled into Myfanwy and some strong rivnuts sunk...

then a bit of sikaflex on the brackets and line them up...

In all, it took Ed about two hours to fit but to be fair it was the first one he'd fitted. I'm sure he's fitted a few more by now as, in my opinion it looks much nicer than the equivalent Fiamma awning and the quality is superb.

I've used it much more than I thought I would both on it's own and as a way of connecting the van to the Vango Kela, it's a great bit of kit.

Love it :D
